Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Modification (color/removal of text) by Sarah Cohen-Smith of Todros Geller’s From Land to Land, 1926, wood engraving.

Kaye Prince-Hollenberg began her genealogical journey over 30 years ago while attending annual family reunions hosted by her grandmother’s family. Specializing in Jewish Genealogy and Holocaust Research, she has been working as a professional genealogist for several years. She began volunteering with Gesher Galicia in 2019 as an identifier on the Przemyśl Identification Project, and now serves as both the Director of Education and Research Associate for the DATO project.

Kaye holds a Master of Information degree from the University of Toronto and a PLCGS from the International Institute for Genealogical Studies. A librarian by day, Kaye writes a genealogy column for the Hamilton Jewish News, was founding Curator of the Margaret’s Legacy Holocaust Learning Centre and presents often for genealogical societies and at conferences both in-person and online.

With research focussed on the Ternopil region of Galicia, Kaye is the JRI-Poland town leader for both Korolówka and Zaleszczyki with a keen interest in gathering any and all archival records for the towns in the area where metrical books no longer exist.
